John obviously has worldly experience and is a student of the culinary arts, I believe he said he was brought up in a NYC deli business. I made a comment to my wife as to the oily exterior and John was right there explaining what all he goes through to come up with that kind of product. They have a very fine oily exterior, but are nice and crunchy when bitten into. I love pork rinds, especially freshly made ones, but never had I seen such light, fluffy, and nearly transparent rinds. There were a lot of tempting items on the menu that we wanted to try, but just did not have room for, so we came back a few days later and tried their homemade pork rinds. ![]() The fries are for real, and served in such quantity mere mortals will find it difficult to polish off entirely. They make their own bacon for cripes sake, what more could one ask for? The "ketchup" and "mustard" that comes in a small bucket with ice along with plain old mayo, is customized in the kitchen to produce a unique blend of flavors never experienced on a hamburger you will find anywhere else. Take a piece of choice to prime quality meat and then add fresh sliced veggies and homemade condiments to it and you have a claim to the best hamburger on the planet in my book. Obviously they are using quality meat products, let's start there. All in all, I had a great time while here, a most stop on my next visit.Įverything has the owner/chef John's own signature on it and we have never been in a place like this. The tap beer selection was pretty awesome the Soriachi Ace and the Affligem blonde were the most enjoyable for me. 2nd Restaurant from Chef George Patti and Sommelier Thomas Smith specializing in gourmet Fast Food. Everything looked so good, but I also knew that I wouldn’t be able to finish much more. Specialties: House ground and cased Sausages, housemade Bacon and smoked Pork, hand patted Angus beef burgers, Kobe Beef Hotdogs, 12 Tap Craft Beers and domestic favorites, Homemade Ice Cream and Milkshakes Homemade Ketchup and Mustard Established in 2012. I overheard a table to our right say that those were the best turkey burgers ever. The atmosphere was casual, the people were nice and relaxed (as most people are while on vaca), and service was good as well. The truffle fries with parmesan cheese and rosemary are also good I’ve had truffle fries before, but never with the two ingredients. It was so cheesy and creamy with nice size chucks of lobster meat in it. The lobster mac and cheese was really great. The diverse menu enlightened my taste-buds immediately with some of the items that were available. ![]() Eatery and Taproom located in the upper keys of Florida was a great way to end my stay while on vacation.
